While I forge many of my own tools, create decorative hooks and design custom knives and hatchets, my primary interest is using blacksmithing as an adjunct to gunsmithing. More than once, I have rescued an old firearm by casting or hammering out a new part. More recently, I've started working in steel, which gives me even more latitude.
