First Test Run of the Foundry Furnace

Although I didn’t have anyone to operate the camera when I cast my first gun part, I did have someone handy to film the first test run of the foundry furnace. This was last summer, and I call it my “proof of concept” that the furnace would work to melt steel.

As time goes on and I cast more gun parts, I will make sure to get someone to run the camera and get video of the steel pours.
