EZEE Steer Addition to my Electra Glide

In my ever evolving quest to upgrade my sidecar Harley, I have found the most amazing addition to my hack. It’s called Sweet’s EZEE Steer.

It consists of a newly made bracket that changes the trail of the front axle, moving it forward from the front forks, and relocates the brake calipers. Most people into sidecars will tell you that you need expensive triple trees to increase the rake angle to change the trail. Unfortunately this is not enough to get the desired effect. Everything you need is included in the kit.

After removing the tire and the entire parts from the lower fork, I start the installation process by using the new bolt included in the kit.

It takes about an hour to assemble the kit onto your motorcycle. Adding this kit is just like adding power steering to the rig. It makes turning at low speeds and going around the curves so much easier. I’m no longer having to fight the rig to keep it on the road.

It doesn’t change the stance of the bike and sidecar when sitting still.

I can now roll through curves at speed and steer with just one hand. I no longer wear myself out on longer rides, and trips are much smoother.
If this is something that you would like to check into it for yourself, check out the Facebook page for the EZ Steer. I have no links, but they’re easy enough to find.
